Last Tuesday morning, Jan 6th, Mrs. Lovica Cooper departed this life in Detroit, at the ripe age of 78 years. Mrs Cooper was the wife of David Cooper of that city, only surviving sister out of nine, os A. Mack Esq. and mother of Mrs. Dr. R. Sprague, both of this village. The nine sisters here alluded to all live to womanhood, and passed away, each leaving behind her the record of a pure life and worthy example. Mrs. Cooper had been in poor health for many years, but had been more severely afflicted during the past six months, and although tenderly watched over and cared for by loving and tender hearts, her extreme age precluded the possibility of her rallying and she passed away amid all the endearing associations of to a better land.
