Perrin, Edward - full obit

Last Monday morning Mr. Edward R. Perrin, Whose family resides about one and one-half miles from this village, went out in the woods to chop, accompanied by his son and a young man named Stephens. After chopping awhile he suddenly stopped and gasping for breath exclaimed, "I can't breath," and sank down beside a log and became insensible, Young Stephens remained, while his son went for Dr. J. C. Wilson, who arrived upon the spot shortly after only to find the poor man dead. He must have died instantly. Mr Perrin was about 51 years of age, possessed a powerful frame and was apparently in excellent health with prospects of a long life before him. He leaves a wife and five children. The cause of death was probably heart disease.
