Mrs. Summers was a daughter of Samuel Axford, on of the first settlers of the town of Shelby, Macomb County, and a sister of Mrs. Wm Price of Stoney Creek, Mr. Samuel Axford of Holly, and C. Axford of Pontiac. Mrs. Summers leaves a large circle of relatives and friends to mourn her loss. Her funeral was held from the Congregational Church in Utica on Tuesday of the present week. Rev D.
