Covell, Charles

Charles Covell, an old resident of this place has been suffering for the past two years with cancer on the lip, passed away quietly at his house last week Friday. The funeral was held in the church Sunday morning, Rev Miller of Davisburg, and Rev. Lawrence of this place officiating. The remains were laid to rest in White Lake Cemetery. Mr. Covell will be greatly missed in this place as he was a good husband, a kind father and an accommodating neighbor, always ready to assist any who were in trouble. He leaves four grandchildren, two children and a faithful wife, who has watched by his bedside both night and day to attend to his wants, and no tongue can tell what she has endured. The bereaved family have the heartfelt sympathy of the entire vicinity.
