Killed By A Car - Royal Oak

Royal Oak, Apr 5 - Unconscious mangled, bleeding from a half dozen wounds, John Ross was rushed in an interurban freight car from the Seven Mile road to Royal Oak. Here he was placed in a special car and still unconscious hurried back over the same road into Detroit and taken to Harper hospital. there he died four hours after he was struck by a car on the Detroit United Railroad lines while attempting to cross the tracks out of Woodward Ave. Ross was forty-none years old and for several months has been employed on a farm near Royal Oak. A brother, Joseph Ross, resides at 820 Riopelle Street.
