Rochester Proved Undesirable Place In Which to Celebrate.
Rochester, Jan. 8. — Two brothers, giving their names as Albert and Frank Kelley, landed in town Monday and proceeded to have a good time generally. They became very intoxicated and made considerable disturbance on the street. Marshal Benson arrested Albert and placed him in the "lock up," but when he attempted to arrest Frank, the latter struck Benson and put up such a fierce fight that it took Councilman Frazer, Pres. Summers and Benson to put him in the jail, where they remained during the night.
Tuesday morning they were arraigned before Justice Compte. They gave their residence as Detroit and said they were both sailors. Albert was given 15 days in the county jail on a charge of drunk and disorderly and Frank was given 90 days in the Detroit house of correction on the charge of assault and battery.
