Death Penalty For Slaying Pontiac Man

Sandwich, Ont.- Nov 3 - Sentence of death by hanging awaited Frank Blanchi, 28, convicted yesterday of slaying William Frazer, of Pontiac, Mich. He was to be brought before Justice Lunno for sentence today, if his physician permitted. The sentence under the law must be death by hanging. Blanchi who recently attempted suicide, was so weak he had to be carried from the court room to his cell when the verdict was announced yesterday. Frazer a British naval veteran was slain in a street fight in Windsor, Oct 1.
