Toll House Completed

The new toll house on the hill south of the village us completed, and a gate keeper will soon take possession. Last Friday night several jolly souls consisting of the builders and a few invited guest, held a sort of dedicatorial soiree at the house. The programme embraced apple eating, cider drinking, story telling, music, both instrumental and vocal, wind instruments being mostly employed, and chaste and pleasant conversation.
